About the project
Drone Ignite Africa is a leading initiative dedicated to fast-tracking the adoption of drone, AI, and robotics technology across the continent. The 2026 edition brought together policymakers, tech innovators, startups, investors, and development partners under the theme: Drone Innovation, African Impact, Global Momentum. Steadicam was brought on to handle the full production across both days of the event.
A two-day production spanning a high-level conference and exhibition at the Kempinski Hotel on Day 1, and an interactive drone showcase and live demonstrations at the University of Ghana Athletic Oval on Day 2. Steadicam managed stage and set design, LED screens and lighting, professional sound engineering, live streaming, videography, photography, graphic design, and on-site project management from start to finish.
The summit served as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and inclusion — spotlighting the role of youth and women in STEM and connecting Africa's drone ecosystem with global partners and capital. Steadicam ensured every moment of the event was captured and broadcast with the precision and quality the occasion demanded.
